PineappleOur main goal for agriculture is to provide our Children’s Home with both food and financial resources.  With the large piece of land we’ve purchased, we can be partially self-sustaining, providing much of our food from the land.

BananasThe property now has orange, lemon, avocado and cocoa groves.  We have 10 acres of mahogany and teak trees, a couple acres of coffee, and several acres of other fruit trees.  We have sheep and chickens for meat, cows for milk, bees for honey, and we’ll be able to grow most of own vegetables.

Our Sheep Grazing

Along with providing for our Children’s Home, we see agriculture as a way to assist our community.  We’ve realized that to help the children of our area, we need to address the plight of subsistence farmers struggling to provide for their families.  We intend to take some of our agricultural projects and help other families implement them for added food and income.
