Lee's Library provides our main outreach to our community. We offer kids an opportunity to come and learn through books, computers, puzzles, arts and crafts, and other activities. Many of these things are new experiences for the kids and they are enthusiastic learners. We have an Activity Center and a playground, which complete our community outreach center.
We are also involved with our local elementary school. Our goal is help this school be its best. Thus far, we’ve assisted by teaching English classes and helping to put new roofs on two of their buildings. In the future, we’d like to help provide their teachers with the resources they need to succeed, continue offering English classes, and run a mobile computer lab. By assisting our local school, we hope to raise the level of education for the whole community.
We are starting a Children’s Ministry to train kids Biblically. The local churches here do little to make faith relevant to children and so the children often lose interest. We've experienced the kid's excitement about learning about God when people teach the Bible in a way that is fun and applicable to their lives.
