Lots of Visitors

Recently we’ve had the privilege of several visitors here with us in Honduras.  I want to write a quick thank you to all of those who are visiting, and also send an invitation to any who might be interested someday in helping us with the orphanage.  Before 2007 comes to an end we are hoping to make the final purchase of property, and in 2008, we will begin the building phase of our ministry.  Throughout 2008 and beyond, we will need lots of help with construction and also taking care of children.  If you are interested, please write us at [email protected]. 

A few weeks ago we had Patrick Connerton, a young man who had gone to church with us in Minnesota, visit for two weeks.  He was such a great help and had such a wonderful attitude that it was a great pleasure to have him here. 

Right now we have Sarah’s mother (Beth) and brother (Matthias) with us.  Beth is studying Spanish every morning with one of the students who graduated from Instituto El Rey last year, Melvin.

This morning about 6:40 am we got a Vonage phone connected to the school’s satellite internet connection.  It has worked very well when people call us, but when we call out, but quality has been pretty bad…so you’ll know if we give you a call, that’s why it’s so bad.
