Future Plans for GiveHope2Kids

As incredible of a journey as this has been so far, we believe that our best days are ahead of us.  We have a vision to care for many more abandoned children, to give more educational opportunities to kids from local communities, and to reach hundreds of youth each week through our Youth Group.  Based on God's provision thus far, we are filled with hope and optimism for the future.  Here's what we hope to accomplish in the future:

1). Children's Home

-Build a 4th house to take in more children
-Build a house for our teenage boys
-Care for a total of 25 abandoned children
-Have all of our kids fully sponsored
-Have a monthly time of worship with our Honduran staff
-Make Saturday mornings a time for the kids to do farm chores with the house-dads

2). Education & Outreach

-Include advanced tropical agriculture techniques in our Trade School
-Offer an internship in tropical agriculture to 3-4 students 
-Have 4 students in our “live-in” University Scholarship and Discipleship Program 
-Offer English and computers classes to four villages
-Have our Youth Group attendance up to 200 people
-Start more discipleship groups from the Youth Group
-Do a monthly service project with the Youth Group kids
-Find the next wave of volunteers to keep all these programs running

3). Self-Sustainability

-Have 70% of our power generated by solar panels
-Find a full-time agricultural director responsible for food and revenue production 
-Employ 5 people from our community to work on food and revenue projects
-Successfully raise a new generation of laying hens.
-Provide 80% of our meat with our own animals
-Provide 100% of our dairy from our cows: milk, cheese, sour cream, and yogurt
-Grow 50% of our vegetables on our property
-Plant 3 more acres of coffee to produce  6,000 lbs of coffee
-Generate $10,000 a year with revenue producing crops: coffee, honey, cacao, spices, avocados, etc.
​-Experiment with aquaponics
-Have our tropical exhibition garden ready for tours
