Hi Everyone,
I know it´s been a while since the last post, but we´ve been very (VERY) busy. Sarah and I were married on the 8th of June, and since that time have been on a trip in Spain for our honeymoon. We´re writing this post from Tenerife, a part of the Canary Islands off the coast of Morocco. We´re headed back this next week, and are looking forward to wrapping up the last of our business in Minnesota and heading to Honduras. We are planning on being in the states for about 10 days, and then we fly to Mexico to travel to Honduras. One of the biggest things that´s going on right now is planning for a group that will be visiting us from Virginia. We are excited to have them and excited to get working in some of the local orphanages. We are hoping to spend several work days re-painting the exterior of a local home for street children. We are very excited. Also, we´re hoping to get right back to teaching my 7th grade science classes. Some day when I have more time and don´t have to pay as much for internet, I´d like to talk more about the school where Sarah and I will be teaching. The Canary Islands are a huge tourist spot, and is geared to German and Brittish tourists. one of the really fun things that we´ve done so far is eat at several Indian restaurants, and tonight we had fish and chips Brittish style at a little shop called Aunty´s Fish and Chips. It was great fun. Before we left for the honeymoon, we were able to have both of our family´s together for several days. I want to say a special thanks to dad, mom, Joseph, and Karen who made the effort to be with us during a very special week. We love you guys! Also, thanks to Paul and Beth for your hospitality and inviting my family to spend time with you. We love you too! It is such a blessing to have been raised as your children. We´ll be sure to write over the next couple of weeks as we make our transition from honeymoon in Europe to living on the side of a moutain in Honduras. Thanks for reading, Jason
