Since the last blog that we wrote, Jason and I (Sarah) have been traveling through the US visiting as many friends and family as can be squeezed into six weeks. We’ve had a wonderful time catching up with people again. One highlight has been hearing fun memories of Honduras from friends that came to help build this year. Thanks to all of you who fit us into your schedule and were so generous to us. We’d also like to give a special thanks to those of you who let us stay in your home.
We are now in Virginia where we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with Jason’s family. Then we’ll be flying back to Honduras early next week to get back into the swing of things. Nick and Hilary have been our stand-ins while we’ve been away. They’ve kept construction work moving and thanks to that we’ll be able to have the 2nd house for kids completed by the end of the year. It sounds like it’s been an exciting month there with all the rain they’ve had. They even got stuck in La Ceiba for a few days when part of the road was washed out by the river. The other big news from Honduras is that David was married on Saturday. He is a wonderful young man that works with us and we are so happy for him. In this week where we stop and remember to be thankful, we want to say how much we appreciate all of you who have shown your care for us and your support for our ministry. We also want to say thanks to God for the faithful provision He has given. Happy Thanksgiving!
